Profencing Fencing Training Center was established in Central Ohio in 2008 and Located in Lewis Center, OH.
The principles of Profencing integrate the optimal development-physical and mental- of all participants within a safe and healthy environment for the learning, practice, and enjoyment of the sport of fencing.
Our mission is to offer the sport of fencing, with all its transferable skills for learning and discipline, to a wide range of students across Central Ohio.
The core of our Fencing Training Center is our Elite Fencing program and Fencing 4Life program. The Elite Fencing Program trains and develop competitive fencers from ages 8 and up. The Fencing 4Life Program is an ongoing open fencing program for all ages and skills for the enjoyment of the sport of fencing as a recreational and fun activity.
Profencing is also engaged with the community in Central Ohio. We work closely with numerous recreational and community centers in Westerville, Upper Arlington, Delaware, Grandview, and Worthington. We also offer after school fencing programs at different school districts in the area.
The recent increased interest in the sport of fencing, is helping us to grow and expand, for these reasons, we are opening several full time , part time jobs and internships opportunities.
Visiting Coaches are welcome!
Profencing welcomes certified fencing coaches from another countries, who are looking for opportunities to train with Profencing and experience the amazing dynamic of fencing in the USA. You are welcome to request to visit our fencing club and train with us for 1- 6 weeks. Profencing may be able to provide Room and board in exchange of sharing your coaching experience with us.
Minimum coaching experience of 4 years, two recommendation letters. Proof of Fencing Certifications. English is a must. This is not a job offer.

SUMMER 2024
CAMP COUNSELORS
During the Summer Profencing offers weekly half and full days fencing camps at our center, at several recreational centers in the area, and at some private schools.
Each camp can have from 16 to 26 participants per session. Counselors are required to volunteer from 2 – 8 weeks. Fencers from abroad are welcome. Note: This internship opportunity is on a voluntary basis, and it is not a job offer. Profencing may be able to provide room, board and meals for candidates coming from overseas.
